The complete Tawang experience. We pause in the apple orchards of Dirang and the sheep farms of Sangti Valley before climbing the pass. We take you all the way to the Chinese border at Bumla. It’s a strategic, historic, and incredibly scenic route for the serious traveler.
Arrive at Guwahati Airport. We drive to the Assam-Arunachal border town of Bhalukpong (5 hrs). The landscape transforms from paddy fields to dense tropical forests. This is the entry checkpoint for the inner line. Relax by the roaring Jia Bharali River.
Overnight: Bhalukpong
Enter Arunachal Pradesh. Stop at the Tipi Orchidarium, home to over 500 species of orchids. The drive to Dirang (5 hrs) follows the Kameng River upstream. Check into your valley resort. The air here is crisp and cool.
Overnight: Dirang
A day dedicated to Sangti Valley—a hidden gem often called a piece of Bhutan in India. Visit the sheep breeding farms and kiwi orchards. Walk across the hanging bridge. Explore the Dirang Dzong (Fort) and the Hot Water Springs.

A spectacular ascent. We climb to Sela Pass (13,700 ft), the gateway to Tawang. The twin lakes of Sela are often frozen solid. Visit Jaswant Garh, the war memorial of the 1962 hero. Descend past the thundering Nuranang Falls to reach Tawang.
Overnight: Tawang
Drive to the Bumla Pass on the Indo-China border (Subject to Army permission). It is a surreal landscape of snow and bunkers. On the return, visit the Sangetsar Lake (Madhuri Lake). Spend the evening exploring the local markets of Tawang.

Morning visit to the iconic Tawang Monastery. Soak in the spiritual energy of the massive prayer hall. We then begin the descent to Bomdila. Visit the Gontse Gaden Rabgyel Lling Monastery (Upper Gompa) for a panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges.
Overnight: Bomdila
Drive back to Guwahati Airport (8 hrs). We recommend an evening flight (post 5 PM) to ensure a comfortable buffer.
Accommodation: Stay in hygienic and sanitized rooms on Double/Triple sharing basis in the hotels mentioned (or similar category).
Meals: Daily Breakfast at the hotel (unless a different Meal Plan like MAP/AP is specified in the package).
Transport: Exclusive private vehicle for:
Pick-up and Drop-off at Airport/Railway Station.
Sightseeing as per the final itinerary only.
Note: Vehicle is provided on a Point-to-Point basis and is not at disposal.
Driver & Road Expenses: Driver&rsquos allowance, fuel charges, toll taxes, state taxes, and parking fees.
Permits: Inner Line Permits (ILP) or entry fees where explicitly mentioned in the itinerary.

Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary/stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, and roadblocks and/or any factors beyond control.
Airfare if not mentioned in the itinerary
In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS..
The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.
Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.
In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.
We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.
The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).
Air tickets and hotel bookings are governed by separate cancellation and amendment policies.
* Air ticket cancellation and date change charges will apply strictly as per airline fare rules.
* Hotel cancellation and modification charges will apply strictly as per hotel policy.
* Airline penalty, hotel retention charges, fare difference and applicable service fees will be calculated individually.
* In case of any amendment, rate difference, seasonal surcharge or revision in fare/rates (if any) will be payable by the client.
* Refund amount, if any, will be processed only as per respective airline/hotel rules.
Tour itinerary may change due to operational reasons, weather or local authority instructions.
