Arrive at Guwahati Airport. We drive to Shillong, the "Scotland of the East" (3 hours). Stop at Umiam Lake for a photo op against the blue waters. Check into your hotel. Evening is leisure time at Police Bazaar or a quiet dinner at a local cafe.

A scenic drive to Cherrapunji (Sohra). En route, visit the Elephant Falls and the Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point. Arrive in Cherrapunji and visit the Seven Sisters Falls (visible clearly during monsoon/post-monsoon) and the Nohkalikai Falls.
Overnight: Cherrapunji
A relaxed day. Explore the Mawsmai Cave (easy access, lit up inside) or the Arwah Cave (rich in fossils). Visit the Thangkharang Park for views of the Bangladesh plains. Spend the evening watching the mist roll over the hills from your resort.
Overnight: Cherrapunji
Drive to Dawki on the border. Experience the famous Umngot River boating—the water is so clear you can see the riverbed. Visit Mawlynnong, the "Cleanest Village in Asia," to see the community-managed gardens and the Single Decker Living Root Bridge nearby. Stay amidst nature. Overnight: Dawki / Shnongpdeng (Riverside Resort/Camp).
Drive back to Shillong. Visit the Don Bosco Museum to introduce the kids to the tribes of the North East. Visit Lady Hydari Park or Ward’s Lake for a gentle walk. Evening is free for souvenir shopping (bamboo handicrafts, shawls).
Overnight: Shillong
Accommodation: Stay in hygienic and sanitized rooms on Double/Triple sharing basis in the hotels mentioned (or similar category).
Meals: Daily Breakfast at the hotel (unless a different Meal Plan like MAP/AP is specified in the package).
Transport: Exclusive private vehicle for:
Pick-up and Drop-off at Airport/Railway Station.
Sightseeing as per the final itinerary only.
Note: Vehicle is provided on a Point-to-Point basis and is not at disposal.
Driver & Road Expenses: Driver&rsquos allowance, fuel charges, toll taxes, state taxes, and parking fees.
Permits: Inner Line Permits (ILP) or entry fees where explicitly mentioned in the itinerary.
Support: 24/7 On-Trip remote assistance from the TourDeWorld operations team.
Taxes: All currently applicable hotel taxes.

All personal expenses like tips, laundry, telephone calls/fax, alcoholic beverages, camera/video camera fees at monuments, medical expenses, airport departure tax etc.

Entrance fees at all monuments and sightseeing spots
Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary/stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, and roadblocks and/or any factors beyond control.
Airfare if not mentioned in the itinerary
In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS..
The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.
Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.
In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.
We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.
The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).
Air tickets and hotel bookings are governed by separate cancellation and amendment policies.
* Air ticket cancellation and date change charges will apply strictly as per airline fare rules.
* Hotel cancellation and modification charges will apply strictly as per hotel policy.
* Airline penalty, hotel retention charges, fare difference and applicable service fees will be calculated individually.
* In case of any amendment, rate difference, seasonal surcharge or revision in fare/rates (if any) will be payable by the client.
* Refund amount, if any, will be processed only as per respective airline/hotel rules.
Tour itinerary may change due to operational reasons, weather or local authority instructions.
