Arrival at Guwahati Airport/Station. We immediately depart for the hills of Meghalaya. Stop at the massive Umiam Lake (Barapani) to witness the crystal blue waters against the pine forests. Arrive in Shillong, a city with a colonial heartbeat and rock-music soul.
Overnight: Shillong
We venture off the beaten path to Laitlum Canyons. Standing on the edge of the grassy plateau, the view drops vertically into the gorges below—a breathtaking, cinematic experience. Later, we visit the Krang Suri Waterfalls (Jowai), famous for its surreal azure blue water.

Drive to Cherrapunji (Sohra), traversing misty roads. En route, visit Elephant Falls. Upon arrival, explore the Mawsmai Cave (limestone formations) and the thundering Nohkalikai Falls (India’s tallest plunge waterfall). The clouds here literally walk with you.

A day for the active explorer. We trek down to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat (3500 steps). These bio-engineering marvels, grown by the Khasi tribes over centuries, are unique to this region. (For those unable to trek, we offer a lighter excursion to the Single Root Bridge and Mawlynnong Village).
Overnight: Cherrapunji
We descend from the abode of clouds to the humid, vibrant plains of Assam. The landscape shifts from limestone cliffs to tea gardens and tall elephant grass. Check into your jungle resort near Kaziranga National Park.

Early morning Elephant Safari (Subject to availability) to see the One-Horned Rhino at close quarters. Post breakfast, visit the Orchid Park. Afternoon Jeep Safari into the Central/Western range to spot Wild Water Buffalo, Swamp Deer, and perhaps the elusive Tiger.
Overnight: Kaziranga
We cross the state border into Arunachal Pradesh, the "Land of the Rising Sun." The drive to Dirang follows the Kameng river. We stop at the Hot Water Springs to relax your muscles before heading to your valley resort.

A tactical ascent to 13,700 ft via the Sela Pass. Witness the frozen Sela Lake, a stark contrast to the green valleys. Pay tribute at Jaswant Garh War Memorial, honoring the 1962 war hero. Arrive in Tawang, a town steeped in Buddhism and history.

We drive to the Indo-China border at Bumla Pass (15,200 ft). Stand at the edge of the nation. On the return, witness the haunting beauty of Sangetsar Lake (Madhuri Lake), formed by an earthquake, with tree trunks still standing in the water.

Visit the Tawang Monastery (Galden Namgey Lhatse), the largest in India and second largest in the world. The sheer scale and silence of the prayer halls are moving. Afternoon free to explore the local craft markets for handmade carpets and masks.

We begin our return journey, descending through the mist to Bomdila. Visit the Bomdila Monastery and enjoy the panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges from the Upper Gompa.
Overnight: Bomdila
A scenic drive back to Guwahati Airport. We bid farewell to the mountains and drop you for your evening flight. The Odyssey concludes.

The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.
Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.
In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.
We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.
The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).
Air tickets and hotel bookings are governed by separate cancellation and amendment policies.
