From the "Abode of Clouds" to the "Land of Festivals," this is a rugged, authentic passage through the raw, beating heart of the Seven Sisters.
Arrival at Guwahati Airport. We proceed straight to Shillong, the colonial capital. The drive passes the shimmering Umiam Lake. Check-in and spend the evening at the Police Bazaar, the melting pot of Khasi culture and modern commerce.

Drive to Cherrapunji (Sohra). Visit the Seven Sisters Falls, plunging down the limestone cliffs. Explore the Mawsmai Cave, a labyrinth of stalactites. Stand at the Eco Park to see the plains of Bangladesh stretching to the horizon.

A day trip to the border. We visit Dawki, where the Umngot River is so clear that boats appear to float on air. Proceed to Mawlynnong, acclaimed as "Asia’s Cleanest Village," to witness the community-driven hygiene and the Living Root Bridge nearby. Return to the mist of Cherrapunji.
Return to Shillong. Visit the Don Bosco Museum (Asia’s largest museum of indigenous cultures)—a crucial primer before entering Nagaland. Visit Ward’s Lake and the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians.
Overnight: Shillong
We descend to the humid plains of Assam. The road leads to Kaziranga National Park, a World Heritage Site. Check into your jungle lodge. The evening is reserved for a cultural show (Bihu Dance) or a quiet dinner by the campfire.

Early morning Elephant Safari to spot the One-Horned Rhino in the tall grass. Post breakfast, visit the Orchid & Biodiversity Park. In the afternoon, take a Jeep Safari deep into the Western Range to track Wild Water Buffaloes, Elephants, and Tigers.

Visit the Kohima War Cemetery, site of the "Battle of the Tennis Court" where the Allied forces stopped the Japanese advance. Drive to Khonoma Village (Asia’s first Green Village), a historic Angami settlement known for its terrace paddy fields and fierce resistance history.

Visit the Kamakhya Temple atop Nilachal Hill, one of the most powerful Shakti Peeths in India. The rest of the day is free for shopping Assamese Silk (Muga/Pat) or local handicrafts.
Overnight: Guwahati
Post breakfast, Transfer: Drop at Airport or Railway Station. If time permits one can have sightseeing of Kamakhya Devi Darshan.
In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS..
The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.
Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.
In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.
We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.
The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).
Air tickets and hotel bookings are governed by separate cancellation and amendment policies.
